WHO and HOW Garissa University Al-Shabaab Terror attack was PLANNED and EXECUTED

Al-Shabaab accessed Garissa University at 3.am and conducted a religious profiling exercise for nearly an hour before calling in the main attackers into the compound. The attackers had posed as worshipers at a mosque in the college

It is after separating Muslim students from Christians they began the killings.

Kenya Intelligence Service report that Senior Al Shabaab leader in Lower Juba, Abdurahman Mohamed alias Gamadere alias Dulyadeen planned and ordered the Garissa terror attack.

Kuno was aided by 2 local youths to conduct surveillance on the University.

The objective of religious profiling and killings is to inspire religious hatred.

They want the Christians to feel threatened and persecuted. Such feelings can elicit emotions that can prompt reprisals.

Religious reprisals can have serious ramifications including acts of violence besides increase Islamic radicalization and ethnic terrorism.

These strategies by the terrorists cannot work in Kenya. The country is relatively stable. There is religious tolerance in Kenya, and terrorists cannot manage to breach that, analysts point out.
