‘Mungu naomba nisianguke,’ Gospel singer Goodluck Gozbert on what he has learnt from Willy Paul’s ‘Fall’

Minister of the Gospel and award winning singer Goodluck Gozbert says he has learnt some lessons from Willy Paul’s lifestyle.

Willy Paul, who started off doing gospel music is now a secular artiste and has been one of the most controversial singers in East Africa.

Asked what he thinks about Willy Paul’s music, the ‘Shukurani’ hitmaker told media personality Salama that;

 I AM NOT JUDGING BUT IF I SEE SOMEONE LIKE WILLY PAUL, I DON’T KNOW WHAT HE HAS GONE THROUGH TO TAKE THE STEPS HE HAS TAKEN WHAT I CAN SAY IS THAT GOD HELP ME NOT TO FALL BECAUSE THERE IS LEARNING THROUGH PEOPLE’S MISTAKES AND LEARNING BUILDS YOU.

Adding;

 I CAN’T SAY IT CAN’T HAPPEN TO ME BUT EACH ONE OF US HAS THEIR OWN CALLING. I DO NOT KNOW THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN WILLY PAUL AND GOD OR ANY GOSPEL ARTISTES IN TANZANIA OR KENYA THERE ARE PEOPLE DOING GOSPEL MUSIC BECAUSE THEY ARE INSPIRED AND THERE ARE OTHERS WHO JUST DO IT.

Gozbert is one of the most listened to gospel artistes in Kenya who hails from Tanzania.
